Job Summary

GNG Solutions is seeking a hands-on Project Coordinator to support an active commercial construction project in Etobicoke, Ontario.

We need someone who understands electrical installations, can read technical drawings, track construction progress, and coordinate with subcontractors to help keep the project moving.

This is a field-focused coordination role, not a design or programming position.

Candidates with backgrounds in electrical construction, building automation systems (BAS), HVAC controls, electrical supervision, or construction coordination are encouraged to apply.

The position is available for an immediate start, with potential opportunities on future projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily site walkthroughs to review electrical and BAS installation progress.
- Review electrical drawings, equipment layouts, and installation requirements to identify completed and outstanding work.
- Track the installation status of BAS controllers, sensors, control panels, wiring, and associated equipment.
- Coordinate with electrical subcontractors and other trades to monitor daily progress and upcoming activities.
- Identify incomplete installations, material shortages, site access issues, and other obstacles affecting progress.
- Maintain a simple progress tracker identifying completed work, outstanding tasks, responsible parties, and target dates.
- Provide daily progress updates to the project manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with resolving coordination issues and keeping installation activities aligned with project deadlines.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

- Experience in electrical construction, BAS, HVAC controls, construction coordination, or a related technical field.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings,



wiring diagrams, or construction plans.
- Good understanding of construction site activities and installation workflows.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working directly with trades, subcontractors, and project managers.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accurate progress records.
- Available to work full-time in office in Etobicoke.

Preferred but Not Required:

- 2+ years of relevant field or construction experience.
- Experience coordinating electrical or BAS installations.
- Previous experience as a site supervisor, electrical foreperson, field coordinator, or project coordinator.
- Familiarity with BAS controllers, sensors, control panels, or electrical equipment.
- Experience using Excel, Microsoft Office, or construction progress tracking tools.

Formal project management certification, engineering designation, and BAS programming experience are not required.
