Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months contract (with possibility of extension/conversion)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Banking Operations Specialist with 2–4 years of experience in banking or financial services, with a strong background in transaction processing, accounting, reconciliations, and wire transfers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience processing international and foreign currency wires, along with a solid understanding of debit and credit transactions.

Key Responsibilities

· Process payments and various debit and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.

· Handle domestic and international wire transfers, including foreign currency wires.

· Perform account and transaction reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

· Review and validate transaction details before processing payments and wire transfers.

· Investigate transaction errors and discrepancies and follow established banking procedures.

· Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure compliance with internal policies and operational guidelines.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications

1. Banking or Financial Services Experience: 2–4 years of experience working in a bank or financial institution.

2. Accounting and Reconciliation: 2–4 years of experience in accounting, financial reconciliations, or related banking operations.

3. Debit and Credit Transaction Processing: 2–4 years of hands-on experience processing debit and credit transactions.

International Wire Transfers: 2–4 years of experience processing international wires, including foreign currency wire transfers. This is a critical requirement for the role.

Preferred Candidate Background

· Solid understanding of banking transactions, payment processing, debit and credit entries, and reconciliations.

· High attention to detail and accuracy when processing financial transactions.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when investigating transaction discrepancies.
