Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in assurance engagement (audits & reviews) compliance, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic insights. This role requires proficiency in Taxprep, Caseware, QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage, as well as experience financial auditing and payroll. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with tax regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial audits and reviews to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform Audit, Review and Compilation engagements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide tax-related guidance and support.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the organization.
- Assist with developing tax strategies that align with business objectives.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance; CPA certification preferred with a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, tax and related fields.
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
