Shift Lead, Boketto Dessert Cafe (River District, Vancouver)
$19.25 to $21.00/hr + tips | Full-time, 30 to 35 hours a week | Every Saturday and Sunday required | Start date: early November
Boketto is a small dessert cafe in River District known for our matcha, bubble tea, Liège mochi waffles, soft serve and NYC-style cookies. We're looking for a Shift Lead to run the floor on evenings and weekends and be the person the team turns to when things get busy.
Availability (required) - Every Saturday and Sunday - Weekday evenings until about 9:30pm Please only apply if you can commit to both weekend days every week. This is not flexible.
What you'll do
- Run the shift: set up, lead the baristas on the floor, and close the store
- Make drinks and desserts to our recipes, and keep quality consistent
- Handle cash, the Square POS and end-of-day counts
- Keep the cafe clean, stocked and ready for service
- Watch waste and leftovers, and help us sell what we make
- Look after customers and sort out small issues before they become big ones
What you bring
- At least 1 year of cafe, bubble tea or restaurant experience
- At least 6 months of leading a shift, training others, or opening and closing a store
- Calm and organized during a rush
- FOODSAFE Level 1, or willing to get it before your start date

- $19.25 to $21.00/hr plus tips, based on experience
