Manhattan Bistro & Music is an upscale casual dining restaurant and live music venue in the heart of Guelph. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding service, exceptional food, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We are seeking a professional Bartender/Server with proven experience in an upscale dining environment to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to guests
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, and other beverages to a high standard
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain a polished, professional, and guest-focused demeanor at all times
- Keep bar and service areas clean, stocked, and organized
- Handle payments and balance cash/credit transactions
- Uphold Smart Serve and food safety standards

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a server and/or bartender in an upscale restaurant or bar
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of wine, cocktails, and food pairings an asset
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a quick-paced, high-volume environment
- Smart Serve certification (required)
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
