JJ's Catering is hiring a Cashier for daily breakfast and lunch service at our cafeteria — we're already in full service and looking to add to the team. Company: JJ's Catering Location: 100 Lesmill Road, North York, Ontario (cafeteria) Job type: Part time Schedule: Shifts within Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (exact shifts to be arranged) Pay: Starting at $17.90 per hour Start date: As soon as possible What you'll do: Greet every customer and take orders accurately (repeat the order back before ringing it in). Handle all payments: cash, e-transfer, debit/credit — count the float, cash out at close. Keep the line moving: call the next customer, communicate wait times, flag big orders to the cook. Answer menu questions (breakfast 8:00–11:30, lunch items) — ask, don't guess. Keep the counter, coffee station and dining area clean:



wipe tables, restock napkins/utensils/condiments, sweep floors, clean coffee machines. Open: register/POS ready and dining area set before 8:00 AM. Close: cash counted and reconciled, area cleaned and restocked. What you need: Friendly, patient, comfortable handling cash and busy lines. Reliable and on time — Mon–Fri daytime availability.
