Going Concern Bookkeeping, etc. is looking for a Bookkeeping Technician to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who understands basic accounting principles and wants to develop a career in bookkeeping. Extensive experience is not required. If you have a working knowledge of debits and credits, understand how financial transactions flow through a business, and are eager to learn, we will provide the training and support to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

- Process and organize client financial documentation
- Enter and maintain accounting records
- Assist with account reconciliations
- Review transactions for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain organized client files and records
- Follow established bookkeeping procedures and workflows
- Assist with client bookkeeping projects

Qualifications

Required

- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Understanding of debits and credits
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn and follow established procedures




- Professional communication skills

Considered an Asset

- Bookkeeping or accounting education
- Experience with Sage 50
- Previous bookkeeping, payroll, or office administration experience
