Overview

We’re seeking a friendly, dependable Cafe Barista to create a welcoming experience for guests while preparing and serving quality beverages and food. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, stays organized in a busy environment, and takes pride in providing attentive customer service. Previous barista, food service, or food industry experience is helpful but not required.

Duties

- Greet guests, answer questions, and provide prompt, courteous customer service.
- Take orders and process transactions accurately using a POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Handle cash and operate the register responsibly.
- Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation and serving, following food handling and food safety practices.
- Keep the counter, equipment, dining area, and workstations clean and organized.




- Restock supplies and communicate inventory needs to the team.
- Work collaboratively with coworkers to maintain efficient service during busy periods.

Skills

- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Barista experience, serving, or food service experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with POS systems; Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Basic math and math skills for order accuracy and transactions.
- Cashiering and cash handling experience.
- Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and food safety.
- Good time management, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Dependability, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

Pay: $13.00-$15.00 per hour
