Warehouse Manager

Location: Mississauga
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year, based on experience

About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading provider of event services and infrastructure, supporting major concert tours, festivals, and live events worldwide. They are seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a small team, and manage staffing, equipment, logistics, and operational costs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong warehouse leader who enjoys working on the floor, managing people, and improving operational efficiency in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, storage, and inventory management.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards.
- Plan staffing requirements, allocate labour, and manage workloads according to operational needs.
- Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, spreadsheets, and operational reports.
- Use Microsoft Excel to track labour hours, overtime, staffing requirements, and operational costs.
- Monitor budgets and identify opportunities to improve productivity and control expenses.
- Organize warehouse space, improve layouts, and maintain efficient storage practices.




- Manage changing workloads and staffing needs during busy and slower seasons.
- Support hands-on warehouse activities, equipment handling, and pressure-washing operations when required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and company procedures.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve operational goals and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Experience leading teams and directing employees in a hands-on warehouse environment.
- Robust Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet skills, including reporting, calculations, and data tracking.
- Experience with labour planning, overtime calculations, staffing allocation, and cost control.
- Valid forklift certification with practical experience operating counterbalance and reach forklifts.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage inventory and improve warehouse space utilization.
- Comfortable balancing administrative duties with hands-on warehouse work.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads and seasonal operational demands.
