Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Associate Dentist to provide high-quality dental care in a cooperative practice to cover Saturdays and Mondays. The ideal candidate is committed to patient comfort, clear communication, and evidence-based treatment. The role may include caring for patients across age groups, including children, and working with the dental team to support efficient, well-coordinated care.

Responsibilities

- Cover Saturdays and Mondays
- Examine patients, review dental histories, and assess oral health needs.
- Diagnose dental conditions and develop clear, individualized treatment plans.
- Provide preventive, restorative, and other services within the scope of licensure and clinical training.
- Support pediatric patients with age-appropriate care and communication.
- Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and home-care recommendations in understandable terms.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records using dental practice software such as Dentrix;
- Use appropriate dental technology and digital workflows, including CAD tools where applicable.




- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, privacy, and documentation standards.
- Coordinate care with dental assistants, hygienists, administrative staff, and other providers as needed.

Requirements

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from University in Canada is preferred.
- Current, unrestricted dental license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain one before starting.
- Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain it as required by the practice.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and dental documentation practices.
- Dental office experience is preferred; experience with pediatrics is a plus.
- Familiarity with Dentrix is preferred. Experience with Epic and CAD systems or digital dentistry workflows is a plus.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
