Duties

- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about food and drink options.
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Follow all food handling procedures, including proper food preparation, sanitation practices, and adherence to food safety regulations.




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality.
- Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setup, cleanup, and inventory checks.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, cash handling, and inventory purposes.
- Robust communication skills to engage with guests professionally and collaborate with team members.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude is essential!
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance the guest experience while increasing sales.

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
