Overview:
As a Line Cook at Ajisen Ramen, you'll play an important role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our food. You'll be responsible for preparing our signature ramen and other Japanese dishes according to established recipes, presentation standards, and food safety procedures.
We're looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals who work well in a rapid-paced kitchen environment, take pride in their work, and contribute to a positive and efficient team.
What you will do:
- Prepare dishes according to established recipes and kitchen standards
- Monitor ingredient levels and replenish supplies as needed
- Work with team members to ensure timely and consistent service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Keep workstations and kitchen equipment clean, sanitized, and organized
- Perform required food safety checks and maintain accurate records
- Complete assigned opening, closing, and routine cleaning duties
- Contribute to a respectful and collaborative workplace
What we are looking for:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively in a busy kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Ability to follow established recipes and procedures
- Responsible and punctual
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Willing to help with food prep, cleaning, and other kitchen duties as needed
- Follow guidance and instructions from team leads and management
- Previous restaurant kitchen experience is a plus
- Food Safety certified or willing to obtain upon hiring
