Job Overview

- The Dishwasher supports daily restaurant or hospitality operations by keeping dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen work areas clean, sanitary, and ready for use.
- This hands-on role works closely with kitchen and service staff to maintain an orderly workflow and help provide a positive guest experience.
- Training is available for candidates who are dependable, attentive to cleanliness, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and food-preparation equipment by hand or with commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Sort and store clean items in their designated locations, keeping supplies accessible to kitchen and serving teams.
- Clean and sanitize dishwashing stations, kitchen surfaces, floors, and other assigned areas.
- Remove waste and recycling, replace liners, and follow procedures for handling cleaning products and food-related waste.
- Assist with basic food preparation or other kitchen tasks as directed, following food-handling and sanitation practices.
- Communicate with cooks, servers,



and other team members to keep dishes and equipment moving efficiently during service.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and promptly report equipment issues, spills, or hazards.

Requirements

- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area and follow instructions consistently.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work cooperatively in a busy kitchen or food-service workplace.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle dishes, cookware, and cleaning supplies.
- Willingness to follow food-handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Restaurant experience, kitchen experience, food preparation, cooking, food service experience, food handling, hotel experience, serving, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are valued.

Pay: $16.40-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
