We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our energetic dental team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of dental procedures, and a commitment to promoting optimal oral health in a friendly and professional environment.

Duties

- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist in the application of sealants and fluoride treatments
- Review patient medical histories and update records accurately using Dentrix or similar dental software
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth workflow during patient visits
- Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy




- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure the cleanliness of treatment areas
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care tailored to their needs, including those requiring specialized attention in pediatrics or orthodontics

Experience

- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is advantageous
- Experience working with pediatric patients, orthodontics, or bilingual communication skills are considered a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health practices
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients

Pay: $50.00-$56.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
