Responsibilities

- Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of proven sales or estimating experience within the residential construction, remodeling, or home improvement industry in Ontario.

- Tools: Valid Ontario Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle to attend residential site visits across the GTA. Must possess a smartphone and a laptop/tablet for on-site client presentations.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, highly organized, ethically grounded, and comfortable operating under an independent, performance-driven commission structure.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients, contractors, and partners to generate new business opportunities
- Conduct on-site assessments and gather detailed project requirements for residential renovation projects
- Prepare accurate estimates using industry-standard tools such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other construction estimating software
- Create comprehensive project proposals that include scope, pricing, and timelines
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to secure project agreements
- Collaborate with project management teams to ensure estimates align with project scope and client expectations




- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
- Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and competitive pricing strategies to provide clients with the most accurate estimates
- Assist in the development of bid packages and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) as needed

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction estimating, project management, or related roles within the residential renovation sector
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other construction estimating or project management software
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical documents
- Strong communication skills to articulate project scope and pricing clearly to clients
- Construction experience is highly preferred; familiarity with residential renovation projects is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a commission-based environment with a focus on achieving sales targets
- Valid driver’s license preferred for site visits and client meetings
