Job summary

Join our team as an Automotive Glass Technician. You will install and repair automotive glass on cars and light trucks, and recalibrate forward-facing cameras after windshield replacement so vehicle safety systems work correctly.

Duties

Review work orders, assess glass damage and plan the work to be performed.

Remove, repair and replace automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, rear windows and sunroofs.

Remove and reinstall mouldings, seals, clips and interior trim around the glass.

Recalibrate forward-facing cameras after windshield replacement, following manufacturer procedures.





Inspect completed work for proper fit and seal, and test drive vehicles to confirm proper operation.

Follow workplace safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Completion of secondary school

Minimum 2 years of experience installing, replacing and repairing automotive glass

Good communication skills in English

Ability to lift up to [23 kg / 50 lbs] and stand for extended periods

Reliability, attention to detail and teamwork

Asset: Experience with ADAS camera calibration procedures.
