Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Noodle Cook / Line Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on cooking, follows food safety practices, and works well with a team to keep service running smoothly. Training may be provided on kitchen procedures and menu items.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and complete daily food preparation and meal preparation tasks, such as washing, cutting, portioning, and organizing ingredients.
- Cook noodle dishes and other menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and customer orders.
- Work on the line during service, coordinating timing and presentation to ensure accurate, consistent orders.
- Support serving and food service needs by communicating clearly with team members and helping orders move efficiently from the kitchen.
- Follow proper food handling and food safety procedures, including protected storage, temperature control, sanitation, and allergen awareness.
- Keep workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment clean and organized throughout each shift.
- Restock ingredients and supplies, monitor freshness,



and notify the team when items need replenishing.
- Assist with opening, closing, and other routine kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications

- Interest in cooking and willingness to learn recipes, kitchen routines, and food safety standards.
- Previous food service experience, restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or experience in the food industry is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with cooking, food preparation, meal preparation, and safe food handling practices is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to communicate respectfully with coworkers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine kitchen tasks, including lifting and carrying supplies as needed.
- Availability to work part-time shifts, including scheduled service periods.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
