Job Overview

The 310T Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles and equipment to support secure, reliable operations. The role may involve work on trucks, trailers, construction and industrial equipment, and farm machinery. Candidates should be comfortable using diagnostic information, tools, and equipment while following established safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

- License Technician 310T
- 5+ years of experience mechanic experience
- Experience with service and repair of Hydrovac and Straight-vac trucks
- Strong understanding of product and technical knowledge
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to vehicle safety
- Must be self-motivated and have good written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Have the ability to work other shifts for coverage of sick days or vacation
- Have the ability to deal with high volumes of work
- Lead, guide and mentor apprentices in the shop





Qualifications

- Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician certification or equivalent qualification.
- Mechanic experience diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles or equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with electrical experience and the ability to interpret schematics.
- Experience with maintenance, automotive repair, and industrial equipment is an asset.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to safely perform physical work, including occasional heavy lifting.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Has own tools
- Flexible for overtime when needed
- Work in/outdoors
- May be exposed to construction sites

Pay: $42.00-$47.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
