Avery HR is hiring General Labourers to work in a food production facility in Brantford. Duties include packaging, material handling, cleaning, and supporting the production line.
Location: Brantford, ON
Pay: $20.00 per hour, plus shift premiums
Shifts: Day and afternoon shifts, rotating weekly OR straight nights
Responsibilities
- Package food products into bags and boxes.
- Inspect products and packaging for quality issues.
- Load raw materials and move supplies and finished products.
- Build, wrap, label, and move pallets.
- Monitor production equipment and report issues.
- Help with production line start-up, shutdown, and break coverage.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
- Complete basic production and quality records.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
- Perform other general labour duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing or production
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Comfortable working around machinery and in varying temperatures.
- Ability to climb ladders and work on elevated platforms.
- Willingness to follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a quick-paced environment.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
