Our growing company is currently seeking a full time employee (Monday – Friday) to carry out various tasks in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a desire to work as efficiently as possible. We are in the Manchester Industrial area, within a 10-minute walk from the 39th Ave LRT station. As a wholesale textile decorator, we operate a casual but fast-paced environment. We are looking for a physically able worker who works well in a team environment and has the desire to learn new skills. The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in day-to-day operations. We offer flexible hours and opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities and Duties
- Finish and pack orders, providing quality control of the finished product.
- Prepare finished jobs for shipping
- Help with shipping and receiving as required
- Help ensuring all product is organized and ready for production, identifying any missing or damaged items
- Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs
- Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace
- Treat merchandise with care and concern
Skills
- Robust work ethic and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a rapid-paced office environment with frequently changing dynamics
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with textile decorating industry is preferred, but not required
