Vivace Estate Winery stands at the western gateway to Southwestern Ontario’s premier wine country in the historic town of Amherstburg, Ontario. We provide a remarkable experience of vine to wine excellence. Our retail store and modern tasting room are comforting workplace environments. We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented associate to join our team. As an associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with wine tastings, group tastings, wine and food pairing, and ensuring a smooth operation of the winery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the Square system
- Maintain high-standard retail cleanliness
- Assist with stocking wines, packing and shipping wine orders
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Representing the winery at offsite events

Job Requirements:
- Smart Serve Certification
- Food handler certification
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work well within a team-focused environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Previous serving experience would be an asset
- Wine knowledge is also an asset but not necessary as training is provided
