The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating band saw equipment to cut various materials accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality output. The Band Saw Operator will play a vital part in maintaining production flow while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate band saw machinery to cut materials according to specifications and production schedules.
- Set up and adjust saw blades, guides, and other equipment components for precise cuts.
- Perform quality inspections on finished parts using calipers, measuring tools, and visual checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assist with machine maintenance, troubleshooting issues,
and performing basic repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge for assembly or minor adjustments when necessary.
