Embark on a full-time, permanent role as a Certified Blaster with Conuma Resources, rotating 7 days on, 7 days off. Leverage your blasting expertise in secure, controlled mining operations. As a blaster, you will be pivotal in blast preparation and execution. This role requires 2-5 years of blasting experience and BC Mines Surface Blaster Certification. You will ensure safe handling of explosives, completing documentation, and collaborating with team members for optimal operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blasting diagrams accurately
• Load and connect detonation patterns safely
• Document blast outcomes and explosive usage
• Guide equipment to blast hole locations
• Assist in the maintenance of blasting materials
Requirements:
• BC Mines Surface Blaster Certification (2nd or 3rd Class)
• 2-5 years blasting experience in mining
• Valid Driver’s License with operational experience
• Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs
