Description CAE Training Centre Operations supports training excellence across Civil Aviation and Defense & Security by ensuring the reliability, availability, and readiness of training systems, simulators, and support services. To support the delivery of simulation-based training services at 19 Wing Comox, British Columbia, CAE is seeking a Simulator Technician to join the Simulator Services team. Reporting to the CMLU Group Leader, this role supports the reliability, readiness, and continuous improvement of advanced flight simulation training devices supporting the CH149 Cormorant Mid-Life Upgrade (CMLU) program. The position primarily supports the CMLU program and may also support the CC295 Fixed Wing Search and Rescue (FWSAR) program based on operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Lead assigned maintenance shifts and support the coordination of daily maintenance activities.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and on-the-job training to Simulator Technicians I and II.
- Support the development and qualification of junior technicians through skills development and knowledge
