Part-Time Charcuterie Shop Sales Associate Luc’s European Meats, Cheeses & Eats – Gasoline Alley Farmers’ Market, Red Deer Pay: $17–$20/hour Hours: Approximately 16–20 hours per week Schedule: Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday Luc’s European Meats, Cheeses & Eats is looking for a friendly, reliable Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team at the Gasoline Alley Farmers’ Market in Red Deer. This is a great position for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great customer service, and has an interest in gourmet food, cheese and charcuterie. Regular Schedule
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sunday: 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM Applicants must be available to work every weekend on a consistent basis. Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service
- Assist customers with selecting cheeses, meats and other specialty products
- Slice, portion, package and present products
- Operate the till and process customer purchases
- Restock and maintain attractive product displays
- Keep the shop clean, organized and food-secure
- Learn about our products and confidently make recommendations to customers




- Assist with opening and closing duties What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and punctual
- Friendly, outgoing and comfortable speaking with customers
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting product/boxes as required
- Retail, hospitality, deli or food-service experience is an asset
- Interest in cheese, charcuterie and specialty foods is an asset — we are happy to teach the right person If you enjoy working with great food and great people, we’d love to hear from you.
