· Toronto, ON (work from your own area) Compensation: Commission-based, uncapped Schedule: Flexible Position type: Contract About Brian Business Brian Business handles the back office for small Canadian businesses: bookkeeping, tax, payroll and invoicing, all built on our own software. Clients get their books done every month, plus a portal on their phone showing how the business is actually doing. Many clients start with bookkeeping and add payroll, tax filing or a website as they grow. Brian Business is owned and operated by Powerplay Systems Inc. The role Find small businesses that need help, introduce them to Brian Business, and turn the right ones into clients. You sell; our team does the work. You won't do any bookkeeping, payroll or tax work yourself. Our main market is owner-operated businesses with fewer than 10 employees, especially contractors and trades.

What you'll do

- Find and contact small-business owners by phone, email, networking, in person and online.
- Follow up on leads we send you and leads you find yourself.
- Learn each owner's situation and recommend the right services.
- Put together quotes with our team, follow up and close.
- Stay in touch after the sale and introduce new services as clients need them. What you can sell

- Bookkeeping cleanup and catch-up
- Websites Other services, such as business advisory, are scoped and quoted by our team, and you earn commission on those too. How you're paid You earn 15% of the first year's revenue from every client you bring in, with no earnings cap. A typical client using bookkeeping, payroll and a year-end tax return can earn you about $800 in commission. Bring in approximately one new client per week and that can mean around $40,000+ per year in commission, with additional upside from larger accounts and additional services. - Like talking to business owners and are comfortable making calls.
- Follow up without being pushy and build trust quickly.
- Can explain a service in plain language.
- Are organized, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Want your earnings tied directly to what you sell. Experience in B2B sales, bookkeeping, financial services, payroll, insurance, SaaS, telecom, marketing or qualified services helps.
