Medical Sonographer – Casual Wosler Diagnostics – Halifax, NS

About Us
Wosler Diagnostics is a growing Canadian diagnostic imaging company with 18+ clinics across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Nova Scotia. We provide ultrasound, X-ray, and image-guided pain injection services, with a focus on timely access, quality imaging, and a patient-first experience. We're looking for a skilled Medical Sonographer to join our Halifax team on a casual basis.

What You'll Do

- Perform general diagnostic ultrasound examinations (abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, small parts, and vascular/MSK as applicable) to a high standard of image quality
- Review requisitions, take relevant patient histories, and explain procedures clearly to patients
- Complete technical worksheets and preliminary findings accurately and on time for radiologist review
- Follow clinic protocols for infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance
- Maintain equipment and exam rooms, and report any equipment issues promptly
- Work collaboratively with medical office assistants, radiologists, and the clinical team to keep the schedule running smoothly What You Bring
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program




- Active registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Nova Scotia Regulators of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NSRMIRT, formerly NSCMIRTP)
- Current Sonography Canada credential(s) in the relevant specialty (e.g., CRGS, CRCS, CRVS)
- Professional liability insurance meeting provincial requirements
- Robust general ultrasound scanning skills; vascular or MSK experience is an asset
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, professional approach to patient care
