We are growing and are looking for the right person to join the team and grow with the company We are looking for a Cook and Kitchen Helper to join our team From October to April, we operate a pub-style restaurant and are looking for a part-time line cook.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of food items.
- Plating meals
- Clean and sanitize work areas and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen setting.
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Assist in the stocking of food items.
- Assist in the setting up of kitchen equipment.
- Experience is a must
- Must have valid Food Handlers certificate
- Opportunity to create specials, make soups from scratch and share in food ideas Hours are mostly evenings during the week, approx. 15-20 hours/week
- possiblity to work more hours. There is also the possibility to extend employment beyond April
Job Type
Part-time Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred) Work
