Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD $30/hr, plus overtime after 44 hours Vacation, benefits and RRSP matching program Join our team as a Yard Scrap Auditor in Hamilton, where you’ll spend the majority of your time hands‑on in the yard , inspecting and verifying materials to ensure everything meets our quality standards. You’ll also spend some time (about 20%) in the office, helping with documentation, tracking,



and reporting —so no two days are the same This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors, and taking pride in keeping operations running smoothly Identifying inbound material grades, non-conformities, non-recyclable and hazardous material in inbound loads Effectively and successfully training productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Inspection Team Facilitating and directing trucks to correct yard locations in an efficient manner Performing Daily Checks (Pile Quality, Truck Inspection, Gate Cleanliness, Overnight Loads) Providing feedback to production about material quality or sale specifications Communicating with supervisors and commercial team about downgrades and deductions Assisting in the implementation of training programs to train external team members on quality and procedures Reviewing outbound sales to ensure quality specifications are met You are experienced in working around heavy equipment You are comfortable with working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions You have a high school diploma or equivalent You have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
