Pacekids Programs is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Classroom Therapy Aide to engage with young children in a supportive environment. This casual, on-call position involves working closely with a Certified Teacher and therapists to implement Individual Program Plans focusing on children's social and academic skills. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills and a passion for fostering an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in executing daily lesson plans and activities Implement individualized strategies per children's IPPs Support children's socialization and learning activities Help document progress and assist with self-help skills Maintain a safe and clean classroom according to standards
Requirements:
Certificate in Early Childhood Education or relevant field Previous experience with young children, particularly with special needs Strong teamwork abilities and communication skills Commitment to obtaining First Aid & CPR certification Recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector necessary Become an essential part of children's development by joining Pacekids' supportive team.
