Become a Snow Plow Operator with MVT Canadian Bus, Inc. in Barrie, Ontario. This seasonal position involves snow removal and maintaining transit facilities in a secure and clean condition. MVT is seeking Seasonal Snow Plow Operators to support Barrie Transit from November 2026 to March 2027. You will ensure service stops are well-maintained and safe, utilizing both snow removal equipment and cleaning supplies. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, possess a valid G Ontario Driver’s License, and have experience in driving and cleaning operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Remove snow from sidewalks surrounding transit stops
• Clean and maintain transit service stop facilities
• Gather and empty trash and recycling bins
• Operate snow blowers and shovels safely
• Document deficiencies needing maintenance and supplies
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid G Ontario Driver’s License
• Minimum 2 years driving experience
• Clear Criminal Background Check
