Responsibilities:
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting
• Clean and disinfect washrooms, change rooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Assist with event setup and furniture arrangement as needed Qualifications
• Current Standard First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Previous custodian experience is an asset
• Ability to work 8-hours shifts, lift up to 22 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Solid attention to detail and reliability SKILLS REQUIRED
• Time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good customer service skills
• Good communication and problem-solving skills PHYSICAL/PSYCHOLOGICAL DEMANDS
• Ability to work in a fast-paced noisy workplace
• Ability to work inside as well as outside when required
• The successful candidate must hold high ethical standards as they are working with a vulnerable population EMPLOYMENT TERM
• This is a temporary part-time position offering up to 16 hours per week. The position is a one-year term with the possibility of extension and requires availability for Saturday and Sunday evening shifts. Required CSA Standard Z1210-17 IFA WHMIS This position will be open until a suitable candidate is found.
