About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice-President, Advancement to take on an inaugural leadership role with a focus on driving growth, bold ideas, and meaningful impact. The successful candidate will serve as the chief advancement executive, overseeing fundraising, alumni relations, donor engagement, advancement communications, and external relationship-building. This role is pivotal in strengthening the culture of philanthropy and engagement, and the Vice-President will work closely with the President, Board of Governors, Deans, academic leaders, and various stakeholders to advance the institution's academic, research, and student success priorities. The ideal candidate will be a respected advancement leader with a proven track record in securing major and transformational gifts, leading comprehensive fundraising campaigns, and building high-performing teams. Exceptional relationship-building abilities, emotional intelligence,



and a commitment to collaboration, inclusion, and community engagement are essential. Candidates for the Vice-President, Advancement position at the company should be strategic and cutting-edge thinkers with outstanding communication skills and the ability to inspire confidence across diverse stakeholder groups. Experience in higher education or similarly complex mission-driven environments is an asset.
