Marmot Basin is seeking a dedicated Snowmaker to assist in smooth snowmaking operations from October to mid-February. This role requires handling snowmaking equipment, performing system checks, and being outdoors in varying weather conditions. The successful candidate should have intermediate skiing or snowboarding skills and a positive attitude towards outdoor work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and dismantle snowmaking equipment
- Transfer snow guns to designated locations
- Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance
- Report safety hazards promptly
- Assist in emergency situations as needed
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Provide own skiing or snowboarding equipment
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license
- Intermediate skiing or snowboarding skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts
