- Scope confirmation: Work with the Citrix administrators to confirm application scope, user personas and how users log in to each application.
- Login testing: Test the WorkSpaces Applications and browser streaming to confirm the logon flow and what end users will actually see. Record findings that feed the SSO design.
- Low-level design: Co-author the fleet and image specification, including sizing for 43 servers and 8 applications.
- Build patterns: Define Terraform build patterns and the AWS Systems Manager (SSM) patching and image pipeline design, working with the Landing Zone team.
- Session settings: Contribute to the session policy, storage persistence and SSO configuration specification.
- Support the Landing Zone team as they deploy fleets, VPC endpoints, domain join, SAML SSO, user pools and session policies to the agreed design.
- Help build the image pipeline and write the operational runbooks that will be handed over to the Operate team.
- Support platform validation and security sign-off.
- Image builds: Build, package and optimize application images for each wave (about 14 to 15 servers per wave), including SAP GUI.
- Testing: Run functional and smoke testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with the client's application owners.
- Cutover: Plan and carry out cutovers with the migration execution pods, then provide hypercare and fix issues after go-live.
- Handover: Keep image build notes and runbooks up to date so the migration pods and Operate team can maintain the images.
- Help produce the as-is and to-be login storyboard and end-user job aids.
Explain technical changes in plain, user-focused language.
