Overview

- We are seeking a dependable AZ Driver/ Owner Operator to transport dry freight trailers safely and efficiently while providing professional service at pickup and delivery locations.

- This role involves commercial driving, vehicle and load inspections, and coordination with dispatch and customers.

- Paid employment; schedule and route details will be discussed during the hiring process.

Duties

- Operate an AZ-class commercial vehicle in compliance with applicable traffic laws, safety standards, and hours-of-service requirements.

- Pick up and deliver dry freight trailers and box trucks to and from customer locations.

- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report vehicle, equipment, or cargo concerns promptly.

- Coordinate with dispatch and receiving locations regarding routes, schedules, delays, and delivery requirements.

- Maintain accurate trip, inspection, and delivery records.

- Take trailers to the scale to be weighed





- Keep the vehicle and work area clean and follow secure practices around freight, heavy equipment, and loading areas.

Qualifications

- Valid AZ driver’s licence and a safe driving record.

- Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation is preferred.

- Ability to follow safe load-handling procedures and complete required inspections and documentation.

- Basic automotive repair or mechanical knowledge is an asset.

- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and coworkers.

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
