Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, customer-focused Barber to provide high-quality grooming services and create a welcoming experience for every client. The ideal candidate combines robust barbering and hair styling skills with excellent customer service, clear communication, and a commitment to sanitation. This role may also support front desk operations and retail sales.

Duties

- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable cuts and styles.
- Perform haircuts, fades, trims, shaves, beard shaping, and other barbering services.
- Style hair and provide guidance on grooming and at-home hair care.
- Deliver attentive customer service, communicate clearly, and build positive client relationships.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow sanitation practices for tools, equipment, and shared areas.
- Support front desk tasks, such as welcoming clients, managing appointments, and assisting with check-in and checkout.




- Recommend appropriate grooming products and contribute to retail sales through helpful, client-focused suggestions.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services when they suit a client’s needs.
- Keep up with current barbering techniques, styles, and shop procedures.

Qualifications

- Barbering experience or other required credentials for the location.
- Proficiency in a range of haircuts, hair styling, shaving, and beard-grooming techniques.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and the ability to maintain a hygienic work area.
- Comfort assisting with front desk duties, retail sales, and appropriate service recommendations.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a professional, client-focused approach

Salary+Commission Pay: $17.95-$20.00 per hour
