We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender and server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Manage POS transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar systems
- Ensure all food safety and food handling procedures are followed diligently
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Handle cashing out customers efficiently with accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- Comply with all health regulations and safety standards within the food industry
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic math proficiency for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary
