What Will Our Busser Do?

The Busser is a key player in the smooth and seamless operation of the dining room. Bussers work with each other, and with servers, guest services and management to ensure a continuous flow and consistent guest experience following Hy’s service philosophy. To be successful in this role, you have thorough knowledge and demonstrated competence in the following areas:

- Food and beverage knowledge including understanding the general theme and content of all menus and being able to offer alternatives as needed/requested
- Technical knowledge including understanding restaurant protocol for stocking, setting,



serving, clearing, re-stocking and re-setting
- Adhering to restaurant policy and procedures.

- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to proactively meet guest needs and resolve problems if they arise
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Understanding and knowledge of the fine dining restaurant industry is a definite asset
- The utmost of professionalism and attention to detail
- Strong personal initiative
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $18.25 per hour
