Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers while providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make drinks according to company standards
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting, interacting with, and serving customers in a friendly manner
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including brewing equipment, counters, and display cases
- Handle food items such as pastries and sandwiches for customer orders
- Process transactions accurately and handle cash transactions
- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages

Requirements

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required




- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with basic math for measuring ingredients and processing payments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a positive manner
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in the food industry is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food preparation procedures

Job Type: Full time Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
