Our short-term casual contracts allow you to maintain your life at home while being able to escape to and explore the spectacular Northwest Territories. We are looking for Registered Midwives to fill short and long-term contracts providing midwifery care, including birthing services in several communities across the Northwest Territories. Contracts are variable in length, an initial contract of at least one month supports a high quality orientation to midwifery services.
Registered Midwives earn a salary range of: $In addition to the above, Registered Midwives are eligible for:
On Call pay, flexible working hours based on community needs, overtime banked as lieu-time earned or paid out Community dependent, this can range from $1.90 - $18.60/hour We are looking to hire Registered Midwives through casual contracts ranging from 5 days to up to 6 months. Your travel days (one day pay each way), flights in and out of the community are covered; Staff accommodations for stays longer than 10 days may be available for a small fee.
