Aghee’s Angels Home Care Services is hiring caring, dependable Certified PSWs to join our team. Our promise is care that feels like family, and we’re looking for people who share that heart. The role may involve working in a private home, assisted living community, nursing home, or hospice setting. The PSW helps clients maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and as much independence as possible while following care plans and workplace procedures.

What you’ll do:

- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Prepare meals, do light housekeeping and laundry, and run errands
- Offer companionship and accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Follow client care plans, document visits, and report changes in condition
- Assist with meal preparation and, when needed, feeding or hydration in accordance with care plans.
- Provide medication reminders or medication administration only as permitted by training, certification, and applicable policies.
- Help with light cleaning and household tasks that support a safe, comfortable living setting.
- Observe and report changes in a client’s condition, behavior, or well-being to the appropriate care team.
- Follow infection prevention, privacy, safety, and documentation procedures.
- Use safe body mechanics and approved techniques when assisting with transfers or heavy lifting.

What you’ll need:

- PSW certificate from a recognized Ontario program
- Current First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain before start)
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check and references
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada




- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, reliable approach
- Home care experience and a valid driver’s license are an asset
- Experience in caregiving, patient care, senior care, or home care is valuable.
- Assisted living experience, nursing home experience, or hospice care experience is an asset.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and providing dementia care is an asset.
- Knowledge of personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, and safe mobility assistance.
- Medication administration skills, where authorized and supported by relevant training.
- Ability to follow care plans, communicate clearly, maintain accurate records, and protect client confidentiality.
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and heavy lifting using safe techniques and appropriate equipment.
- Dependable, compassionate, attentive, and respectful approach to supporting clients and their families.
