We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented operator with solid mechanical aptitude to run our high-pressure polyurethane foaming machine.
This role requires precision, focus and a commitment to consistent quality. We want someone who understands the importance of following procedures, notices problems early and takes an active role in solving them.
Your responsibilities
- Prepare the equipment and complete pre-start checks according to established procedures.
- Operate the machine and monitor temperatures, pressures and dosing quantities against approved production settings.
- Inspect pillows for molding defects, bubbles and unusual variations in quality.
- Record production settings, output, rejects and material lot numbers accurately.
- Coordinate with the molding and demolding team to keep production organized.
- Report abnormalities promptly and work with production, quality and maintenance personnel to resolve them.
- Perform only the adjustments, cleaning and routine maintenance you are trained and authorized to carry out.
- Follow chemical-handling procedures,
PPE requirements and machine safety and lockout procedures.
- Keep the work area clean and organized. Never sacrifice safety or quality to increase production speed.
What we’re looking for
- Experience operating production machinery; polyurethane, dosing or molding experience is an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow technical procedures accurately.
- Attention to detail, initiative and a strong sense of responsibility.
- A calm, methodical approach to troubleshooting and clear communication.
- Willingness to learn, support teammates and improve production consistency.
