Retail Division – Coffee Shop Clerk For over 60 years, Bosa Foods has been a leading importer and distributor of specialty Italian and Mediterranean food products in Western Canada. As an established, family-owned and operated company, Bosa Foods values teamwork, collaboration, and excellent customer service. We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual to join our Retail Division as a Coffee Shop Clerk.

As a Coffee Shop Clerk, you will provide excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, sandwiches, panini, salads, and other food items. You will help create a welcoming customer experience while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness in a quick-paced grocery store environment.

Position: Full-Time Contract

Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

Customer Service

- Greet customers, take orders, and process requests accurately and efficiently.
- Recommend coffee drinks and food items based on customer preferences.
- Respond to customer questions and resolve concerns in a friendly and professional manner.

Food Preparation and Display

- Prepare and serve coffee drinks, sandwiches, panini, salads, and other food items as required.
- Keep food displays well-stocked, fresh, and attractively presented.
- Follow all food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures.

Cleaning and Organization





- Regularly clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Monitor supplies and replenish coffee beans, syrups, and other products as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming coffee shop area.

Teamwork and General Duties

- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist in other areas of the grocery store as required.

Qualifications

- Previous customer service or food service experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer service.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Comfort working with hot equipment.
- Ability to follow established safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
