About us: ECO Windows has supplied windows for over 20 years, working on commercial and residential projects across the United States. We supply and install commercial-grade vinyl and aluminum windows and premium European windows. We are opening a new office in Calgary and are building the team from day one.

What you will do

- Own accounting and finance for our Canadian office
- Lead month-end and year-end close and prepare financial statements
- Own job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) schedules and percentage-of-completion reporting, and report project margins to management
- Oversee progress billing and holdbacks on construction contracts
- Manage cash flow forecasting and prepare annual budgets
- Ensure GST, payroll and WCB compliance and timely CRA remittances
- Handle intercompany and cross-border reporting with our US parent company
- Work with external auditors and tax advisors on year-end, reviews and filings

Leadership
- Build and lead the Calgary accounting team, including bookkeepers and an accountant
- Hire, train and mentor junior employees and support their growth
- Build a robust, collaborative team culture
- Set up accounting processes, internal controls and the close calendar from the ground up
- Select,



implement and improve accounting and ERP systems

What you bring
- Construction industry experience is required: at least 3 years of accounting or finance in construction, contracting or a construction trade
- CPA designation required (CPA Alberta member in good standing, or eligible to transfer)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervising staff
- Hands-on experience with job costing, WIP, percentage-of-completion revenue, progress billing and holdbacks
- Strong knowledge of ASPE, GST and Canadian payroll requirements; US or cross-border experience is an asset
- Experience building processes, controls and systems in a growing business
- Clear communication in English, organized, and able to work independently
