Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to plan, organize, coordinate, and oversee roofing, waterproofing, building-envelope, and related construction projects throughout the Lower Mainland. The successful candidate will coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel, monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards, and communicate with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders. The role requires practical construction knowledge, effective project coordination, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Duties

- Plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor construction projects from planning through completion.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, and priorities.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and technical documents.
- Coordinate roofing, waterproofing, and building-envelope activities.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, quality, costs, and schedules.
- Assist with budgets, cost estimates, expenditures, procurement, and cost tracking.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, correspondence, and progress updates.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage change orders, site instructions, scope changes, deficiencies, delays, and project risks.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor quality-control requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.




- Supervise and support project personnel and field teams.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant construction experience.
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the construction industry, including construction supervision, project coordination, or construction management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in roofing, waterproofing, building-envelope, or related construction work.
- Experience with multi-family, mid-rise, high-rise, commercial, or other complex construction projects.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, trades, and field personnel.
- Experience with project scheduling, procurement, cost tracking, and project documentation.
- Robust knowledge of roofing, waterproofing, and building-envelope construction methods and materials.
- Sufficient verbal and written English communication skills to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project personnel.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-management software.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites throughout the Lower Mainland.

Pay: $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
