LATCI is hiring OSP Copper Splicing Technicians to join our telecom infrastructure crews. If you have copper splicing experience, or are a motivated, hands-on worker ready to learn the trade, we want to hear from you. Travel is part of the role, with accommodations and a living out allowance provided.

What You'll Do:
- Splice, test and troubleshoot copper cable sites and links (experience preferred).
- Work on aerial and underground outside plant, including ladders, heights, manholes and confined spaces.
- Handle heavy equipment and materials such as manhole covers and cable reels.
- Document and report on completed telecommunication work.
- Maintain project and telecom safety documentation, and take on other duties as required.
What You Bring:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a reasonable driver’s abstract.
- Ability and willingness to travel for project work.
- Physically fit, able to dig, lift 50 lbs, climb ladders and work with positive manual dexterity.
- Able to work in all weather conditions, at heights and in confined spaces.
- Self-disciplined, motivated and organized, with working knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Able to work as part of a team and follow specific instructions throughout the workday.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
