Marvel Signs & Display is a custom fabrication and manufacturing company specializing in commercial signage, architectural features, retail displays, and unique custom-built projects.

We work on everything from large-scale commercial installations to one-of-a-kind creative projects. No two days are exactly the same.

We're looking for a talented, hands-on Custom Fabricator who enjoys building things, solving problems, and turning creative ideas into finished products.

The Position

This isn't your typical woodworking job.

We're looking for someone who combines traditional woodworking and fabrication skills with modern technology and creative thinking.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with their hands, understands how to use a computer, and can take a concept, drawing, or idea and figure out how to bring it to life.

You don't need to know everything, but you need to be resourceful, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and able to think outside the box.

Key Responsibilities

- Build custom displays, signage, cabinetry, fixtures, and unique fabricated products.
- Work with wood, MDF, plywood, plastics, acrylic, and other materials.
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and production specifications.
- Use Adobe Illustrator to review, modify, and prepare basic artwork and layouts.
- Operate woodworking equipment, power tools, and shop machinery safely.
- Assist with CNC routing, laser cutting, and other digital fabrication processes.
- Develop creative solutions to unusual fabrication challenges.
- Take projects from concept through assembly and finishing.
- Work independently while collaborating with our design and production teams.
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, accuracy, and quality.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills:

- Practical woodworking, carpentry, cabinetmaking, or custom fabrication experience.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.




- Experience with Adobe Illustrator or the ability to work with digital design files.
- Strong understanding of measurements, materials, and construction techniques.
- Ability to use common woodworking tools and shop equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Additional Skills That Would Be an Asset:

- CNC router operation.
- SketchUp or other 3D design software.
- Laser cutting or engraving.
- Acrylic and plastic fabrication.
- Custom cabinetry, millwork, or exhibit fabrication.
- Experience building retail displays, trade show exhibits, or commercial signage.
- Basic electrical or LED installation.
- 3D printing experience.
