Lead drilling operations from Canadian Natural’s Calgary office, applying rig-site leadership and well control expertise across active programs. The schedule is Monday to Friday.

As Drilling Superintendent, you will oversee secure, efficient, cost-effective program execution. You will guide drilling engineers, Wellsite Supervisors, contractors, and service providers through planning, execution, performance optimization, and post-well reviews. Frequent field visits support wellsite operations and safety expectations.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise up to three drilling rigs across operating areas

Support drilling engineers with planning, risk reviews, and execution

Monitor performance, costs, forecasts, and approved AFE limits

Manage contractor performance, invoices, safety, quality,



and service delivery

Lead readiness reviews, post-well evaluations, and lessons learned

Requirements: 10+ years of drilling operations experience

Significant rig-site leadership and Wellsite Supervisor experience

Technical knowledge of drilling, well control, and rig equipment

Experience managing budgets, AFEs, forecasts, and invoice approvals

Valid Supervisor-Level Well Control Certification
