As Fashion Buyer at Reitmans (Canada) Limited, you will translate brand direction and emerging trends into commercial product decisions. Reporting to the Director, Merchandising, you will collaborate with Design, Planning & Allocation, Sourcing, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising. The position focuses on relevant assortments, solid margins, inventory productivity, and profitability for the PENN. customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build seasonal assortments reflecting customer needs, brand direction, and trends
- Determine quantities, product flow, and inventory needs by channel
- Analyze sales, margin, inventory, and product performance
- Develop pricing strategies balancing value, competition, and margin
- Manage buying calendars and seasonal deliverables
Requirements:
- Degree in Merchandising Management or Fashion Marketing
- At least five years of merchandising or retail buying experience
- Fluency in French and English
- Proven people management and leadership skills
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
